Glider just raised $4M! (and we are just getting started)

Yes!
When I joined Glider a few months ago, John and Brian already had a very clear vision of what Glider would be. And to be completely honest with you, when I saw what John had already built by himself, both in terms of functionality and UI, I knew right away that this vision wasn’t a matter of if, but when.
I joined the team to focus on UI and integrations, which is what I truly love working on. I probably spend more time than I care to admit just obsessing over little details like animations, transitions, spacing, sizing… all these things that (hopefully) make the experience feel great.
But one thing I’ve learned over the years working at startups is that you have to ship. Otherwise, you won’t survive. So finding the balance between shipping fast and still caring about the details has always been one of the biggest challenges for me.
When I had my first interview with John, we ended up talking a lot about these little details. About how Glider should feel impressive not just because of what it does, but because of how it feels to use. That interview was supposed to last 30 minutes but ended up going for more than an hour. It was great to talk to someone as experienced as John who felt the same way about UX and UI.
Brian was no different. Our conversations were mostly focused on business and crypto in general, but it was clear how much he also cared about making Glider feel magical. They were very well aligned, which is always a great sign for cofounders.
I was really happy to join Glider, and now with the fundraising behind us, the focus is fully on building. I can’t wait to keep pushing things forward.
In the next few weeks, we’ll be sending out more invite codes to the waitlist, and we’re looking forward to hearing what people think. From UI feedback to feature requests, we want to hear it all.
Thank you so much for all the enthusiasm around Glider. It’s been amazing to see how people are engaging with us on social media!
See you in the next features and posts!
